The plane journey back was LONG! But it’s all good, me and Carley are back from L.A with a few little treats in our suitcases….

Plenty plenty of sunglasses with us, but most of the stock has had to be freighted, cos there was just soooooo much of it…

Now back we’re doin a massive sale to get rid of stock we’ve had for ages, doesn’t mean it’s bad stuff just had it for a while and wanna be fresh…

So get yourselves down to the shop and grab a bargain, dresses from as little as £5!!!!

Watched ‘walk the line’ on the plane, if you haven’t seen it go watch it!

started the day with the dirtiest of burgers ever, top stuff!

Shopped loads!!! Got some superb summer dresses and plenty of other stuff too, then headed back to our favourite shop yet ‘Buffalo Exchange’, where we picked up even more vintage nikes, super rare new eras and plenty plenty of pimpin t-shirts, you had best be ready for all this goodness!

Currently in Starbucks using their free wi-fi and wondering what to eat for our tea……..

Headed to Fairfax, where we found some more amazing garms and trainers and sunglasses and hats and bling!!!!

Go to Fairfax if you fancy hot men! The boys in the Supreme shop are ridiculous!

There are millions of jewish people in Fairfax, it was really cool to see the mad mix of peeps and shops….

Got distracted today en route by IHOP, portion sizes here are ridiculous, even for a well seasoned eater like myself, didn’t manage to finish my food, but enjoyed it so, free refills of cherry coke, that’s what i’m talkin about!

Headed to the rose bowl in Pasadena to check out a flea market, but got the dates wrong and found millions of yanks in running shorts stretchin! Got told off by some HUGE security guy for driving in a non driving area, played the tourist card and of course as soon as he heard the accent he was lovin us, ‘u guys sound so cute’, yeah mate whatever!

It wasn’t a wasted trip cos on our detour we found a whole load of mexicans sellin their wares around the lake in echo park, picked up some mega mega bling!!!! And and and and found a discount nike store, oh my double days we were in there forever, 6 pairs of trainers and some t-shirts later we were back on the road….

Off to Vermont, bought some amazing garms from some really nice vintage shops there, really bright colourful stuff, then we went to the Dresden for a quick beer, I was drivin so it was a quick one, but what a place! It’s totally stuck in the 70’s in there, the bartender looked like he was glued behind the bar, some guy was playing the piano, lovely it was….

Got some beers from a liquor store on the way home, we’d got a taste for it, by the time we got back, we managed one beer each and were both snoring before midnight, rock n roll eh!

early rise today, lots of shopping to be done, never enough time!

Went to La Brea and checked out some high end vintage, massive prices I tell ya, as if!

Found some amaaaaaaazin vintage nikes, so watch this space you lucky people, serious goodness alert!

Sunnies galore (be prepared to be spolit for choice)….

Headed to some apparently amazing vintage fair, got there, it was naff, as in worse than those rip off naff co 54 jackets they used to sell on markets back in the day, but we were in Santa Monica, the sun was shinin and nothing could dampen our mood, so off we trotted to the pier to get our eat on! A whole lot of tacos and cheese later we rolled back to the car and off to a 99c store to get some american sweeties, found some nerds (old schoooooooooooool).

Arrived in L.A, picked up the hire car (massive dodge type affair) and headed to our beverly hills home, ya dun know!

So usually here at shockandsoul it’s all about French vintage, but we think it’s about time we gave our loyal customers some extra special items.

With this is mind we will be going to L.A on friday to do some buying…

We’ve got meetings set up wth some designers and vintage collectors, so expect some super exclusive goodies!!!
